We are seeking an Assistant Manager, Digital Solutions who will serve as the key link between business needs and technology solutions specifically related to the asset management systems. This role involves analyzing processes, gathering requirements, and identifying opportunities for improvement to support the effective implementation of the asset management systems. This role will drive the implementation of these systems that enhance business performance, optimize customer experience, and drive innovation. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, the role will ensure that the projects align with organizational goals and deliver measurable value.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Add new functions as required in the asset management systems
Work with cross-functional departments to understand business needs and identify opportunities for process automation.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications for in-house development of new asset management system functionalities.
Research and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance asset management system capabilities.
Oversee the planning, execution, and quality assurance of new asset management system functionalities, ensuring alignment with business goals and cost efficiency.
2. Update existing functions in asset management systems
Partner with relevant departments to assess and prioritize updates or improvements to current asset management system features.
Define and document technical requirements for upgrading existing functionalities.
Ensure updates are delivered with high quality, minimal disruption, and within budget.
3. Support the maintenance of the current systems and involve in development of future systems
Support line manager in maintaining the current version of asset management systems to ensure stability and performance.
Collaborate with third party to developing new functions of any newly built systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
Minimum five years of experience in relevant position, most importantly system development.
Technical Skills
Programming Languages: C#, WinForms, LINQ
Database: Design SQL Server databases and develop using database programming languages
Microsoft Excel: Proficient in Excel
Web Development: ASP.NET (WebForms + MVC), ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, React, HTML, CSS, Javascript
Services: Web Service, Web API
Language: Good English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking)
Additional Skills:
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Financial knowledge is an advantage
Experience with AI tools
Project Management Skills is preferable
